Chinoiserie is a hand-painted pattern inspired by royal gardens graced by peacocks amongst roses and greenery. This wallpaper has a chalky plaster finish background and is full of beautiful details. Chinoiserie is perfect for every interior, to complement wood panelling or as a feature wall.
Chinoiserie was originally a French word referring to a decorating style dating back to the 1700s when inspiration
was sourced from China.

In this variant, Chinoiserie is rendered in blue-green, where the mid-tone background is offset by terracotta, apricot and olive green.

Yes, our wallpapers are printed on materials sourced from sustainable forestry. In production, no PVC or harmful solvents are used, and they exclusively work with water-based paints and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory's own purification facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption, for instance, by using production waste for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable material.
