A single violet in grandma’s forest. Small, yet ever present. It appeared every year, never spreading – like a silent memory among all the wild growth. Skogsviol is a quiet tribute to what remains – and to what unexpectedly returns. Among the violet and blue flowers, a soft yellow primrose shines. The wallpaper is hand-painted in purple, blue and pale yellow on a light beige background with a paper-like texture, reminiscent of unbleached pressed paper. A gentle floral print that sneaks into the heart, like memories rooted deep.

In production, no PVC or harmful solvents are used, and they exclusively work with water-based paints and surface treatments that can be safely handled in the factory's own purification facilities. The factory continually strives to reduce energy consumption, for instance, by using production waste for district heating in the city of Borås. And when you receive the finished wallpaper roll from Boråstapeter, it is packaged in recyclable material.
